The Anti-Submarine Warfare has developed rapidly. The use of air assets in the form of helicopters controlled by warships is the most effective method of fighting submarines. Several factors are influential for ASW- operations between helicopters and warships. One of the determining factor is the human resource factor, which is the onboard helicopter controller operator. Helicopter controllers require unique abilities and skills. Warships need helicopter controllers that are reliable and has international standard. The control of a helicopter on a ship is very different from the control carried out on land, because the task terrain faced is different. Researchers used descriptive qualitative research methods in this scientific article. Data collection was carried out through interviews with helicopter controllers, ASW-helicopter captains pilot and related Navy TNI officers, supported by questionnaire results to make observations about the opinions and attitudes of operator respondents. The data obtained were then processed using the Interactive Model Data Analysis method from Mile's and Huberman to get the main categories of helicopter control criteria. Data processing is assisted by the NVivo 12 plus program to obtain more objective evaluation results and conclusions. Through this analysis the researchers established criteria that could be used as reference standards for helicopter control standards on the Republic of Indonesia warships (KRI), especially KRI type Multi Role Light Frigate class Bung Tomo, with the aim of increasing the ability of the Anti Submarine warfare.
