Motivation and Emotion
In general, a book of reading is constructed and used to acquaint the student with what the author considers to be exemplary work in a particular field of study. If the articles are well chosen, the student can often share in the flavor and excitement of the original research-a feeling not often conveyed in reviews of the literature, or as summarized in most textbooks. However, after looking over most of the anthologies available to students of physiological psychology, we have come away with the vague suspicion that these books may be written with a singular intent
